A yucca growing in Montana

The Dakota Column marched another twenty miles today over good country, with little in the way of note taking place before they encamped along a tributary of the Heart River known today as North Creek¹.

Likewise, little was reported by the Montana Column in its camp along the rosebud, with no sightings of the enemy and no major movements.
